Animal Care Associate (Boston, Part-Time)
About The Position
The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), one of New England’s leading animal welfare organizations, is seeking a part-time Animal Care Associates to join our Boston location. The schedule for this position is Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00am to 6:30pm. Pets are family. This belief is at the heart of everything we do at the Animal Rescue League of Boston. We are the first female-founded animal welfare organization in Massachusetts and are proud to carry on a legacy of kindness and compassion, helping more than 20,000 animals annually since 1899. Recognized for our innovative, award-winning programs that go beyond sheltering, we address the root causes of the issues facing animals and the people who love them. By partnering with communities, we help animals heal and thrive, keep pets and people together, and protect animals from harm.

Responsibilities
- Care for the animal population of our Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center by providing food, water, exercise, enrichment, medication, and grooming
- Clean and disinfect kennels and other shelter areas
- Guide clients through the adoption process and surrender process with kindness and compassion
- Help us continue to learn and grow as a team of development professionals who work hard to ensure ARL continues to provide the best care for animals in need!
