Angels Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor (Laguna Niguel - South Orange County)
About The Position
Angels Baseball & Softball Camps is seeking energetic, positive Coaches for its summer youth baseball and softball camps across Orange County and Riverside County. The role involves inspiring youth to make good choices and be accountable, all while ensuring a fun learning experience. The organization provides equipment, training, and curriculum, while coaches offer leadership to help campers develop a love for the game, improve skills, make friends, and appreciate personal accountability. Various positions are available, from Coach to Site Director, catering to different coaching skill levels for ages 4-13.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 4-13
- Experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
- Passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
- Ability to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting
- Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
- Dependable and reliable
- Must be prepared to make a commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 4-6 week commitment
- Must be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screening

Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
- Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
- Execute Los Angeles Angels Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
- Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
- Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from
- Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Angels Baseball Camps stellar reputation
