Angels Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor (Irvine - South Orange County)
About The Position
Angels Baseball & Softball Camps is seeking energetic, positive Coaches for our summer youth baseball and softball camps in Orange County and Riverside County. We are looking for individuals who can inspire youth to make good choices and be accountable, all while having a great time. We provide equipment, training, and curriculum. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to ensure campers have a wonderful learning experience, develop a love for the game, make new friends, improve their baseball/softball skills, and appreciate the importance of personal accountability. We have various positions available, from Coach to Site Director, and need a range of coaching skill levels for ages 4-13.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 4-13
- Experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
- Passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
- Ability to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting
- Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
- Dependable and reliable
- Commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 4-6 week commitment
- Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
- Able to pass a comprehensive background screening

Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
- Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
- Execute Los Angeles Angels Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
- Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
- Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from
- Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Angels Baseball Camps stellar reputation
