Angels Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor (Mission Viejo - South Orange County)
About The Position
Angels Baseball Camps is now hiring Coaches for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout Orange County and Riverside County. Angels Summer Camps is looking for summer camp coaches in Orange County and Riverside County who are energetic, positive, and who love to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions - all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability. We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps - from Coach to Site Director - and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 4-13
- Experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
- Passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
- Able to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting
- Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
- Dependable and reliable
- Be prepared to make a commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 4-6 week commitment
- Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
- Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening

Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
- Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
- Execute Los Angeles Angels Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
- Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
- Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from
- Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Angels Baseball Camps stellar reputation
