About The Position

NorthStar Anesthesia is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join its anesthesia provider group serving Tampa General Hospital North locations in Brooksville and Spring Hill, as well as Florida Endoscopy Surgery Center. The practice welcomes new graduates and experienced Anesthesiologists and offers varied shifts, a diverse case mix, and a collaborative care team environment. The schedule is 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off. During working weeks, the physician is on call every other night, provides daytime coverage at Spring Hill, Brooksville, and Florida Endoscopy Surgery Center, and is responsible for call at Brooksville beginning at 5 p.m. Brooksville cases include general, endoscopy, urology, podiatry, plastics, total joint, orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, vascular, thoracic, and ENT. Spring Hill cases include general, thoracic, vascular, ENT, orthopedics, plastics, radiology, urology, labor epidurals, and C-sections. Florida Endoscopy Surgery Center cases include general, endoscopy, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain, plastics, podiatry, and urology. The compensation package includes a $511,000 base salary, a $25,000 quality bonus, and $29,000 in call pay, for stated annual compensation of $565,000. A $100,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a three-year commitment. Full benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

Provide daytime anesthesia coverage at Spring Hill, Brooksville, and Florida Endoscopy Surgery Center.
Take call every other night during working weeks.
Provide call coverage at Brooksville beginning at 5 p.m.
Provide anesthesia care across the case mix at the facilities served.
