Opening for per diem Anesthesiologist with Northern Dutchess Hospital, an 84-bed nonprofit facility providing quality, award-winning care close to home for area residents, in charming Rhinebeck, NY. It is part of the Nuvance Health™ system, which includes seven hospitals and several outpatient facilities serving both the Hudson Valley of New York and western Connecticut. Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
