About The Position
The Anesthesiologist provides clinical anesthesiology services and patient care pre- and post op. The Anesthesiologist monitors patients while in surgery. Care for patients in the OR. Provision of General/regional anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB cases. The Anesthesiologist reviews medical files and lab results. Informing patients about risks associated with anesthesia.
Requirements
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
- Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
- Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of two years of recent experience.
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
