About The Position

Allied Digestive Health is seeking a part-time Anesthesiologist in Eastern Monmouth County. The Anesthesiologist administers anesthesia and monitors patients’ vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgical procedures, helping ensure patient safety and comfort. The role includes assessing patients’ medical histories, conducting pre-operative evaluations, and determining appropriate anesthesia methods. The Anesthesiologist collaborates with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans, and provides post-operative care and pain management.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited residency program in anesthesiology.
Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology.
New Jersey licensure in good standing, DEA, and CDS.
Deep understanding of pharmacology and physiology.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with surgical teams and explaining procedures to patients.
Attention to detail when monitoring vital signs and adjusting anesthesia levels.

Fellowship training in a subspecialty of anesthesiology.
Experience in a variety of surgical settings, including outpatient and inpatient care.
Proficiency in advanced anesthesia techniques and technology.
