About The Position

The Anesthesiologist provides clinical anesthesiology services and patient care pre and post op. The Anesthesiologist monitors patients while in surgery. Care for patients in OR, on hospital wards, and in other procedure suites. Anesthetic care will be performed in GI/endo, Interventional Radiology, ICU, and Cardiac Cath Lab, and assist with cardioversion and Anesthesia care for ECT. Provision of General/regional anesthesia for general, vascular, orthopedic and spine, thoracic, urology, ophthalmology, and ENT. The Anesthesiologist reviews medical files and lab results. Informing patients about risks associated with anesthesia.

Requirements

• Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
• Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of two years of recent experience.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
