About The Position

Gould Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join their practice in Los Banos, CA. This is a physician-only practice focused on providing exceptional anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical cases. The group consists of over 25 highly trained and collegial partners. The practice handles diverse surgical cases including general, orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, cardiac, thoracic, obstetrics, and plastics, with opportunities for regional anesthesia and invasive line placement. The position is based at Memorial Hospital Los Banos, a 46-bed community hospital. The department has 30 members and utilizes Epic for EHR. There is no trauma, cardiac, or NICU, and limited ICU involvement. The role involves approximately 205 shifts per year, including on-call duties, with about seventeen weeks off annually. A great working relationship with surgeons, RNs, and hospital administration is noted.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Anesthesiologist.
Experience in OB Anesthesia.

Nice To Haves

Experience in trauma, cardiac, or NICU.
Experience with limited ICU patients.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional anesthesia care to a wide spectrum of patients.
Perform anesthesia for general, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgery, cardiac, thoracic, obstetrics, and plastics surgical cases.
Utilize regional anesthesia techniques.
Place invasive lines.
Participate in the care of complex surgical patients.
Provide OB Anesthesia.
Work collaboratively with surgeons, RNs, and hospital administration.
