About The Position
Gould Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist for its physician-only practice in Modesto, California. The stable, close-knit practice has more than 25 physician partners and provides anesthesia care to a wide spectrum of patients. Surgical cases include general, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgery, cardiac, thoracic, obstetric, and plastic surgery, with opportunities for regional anesthesia, invasive lines, and participation in care for complex surgical patients. The primary location is Memorial Medical Center, a 423-bed Level II trauma center. The department uses Epic. Compensation includes a guaranteed salary of $600,000 for one year, with production upside during the guarantee period, plus a call stipend of $60,000–$75,000. The posting states that first-year total compensation is over $600,000, including call and sign-on compensation. The production model combines a blended unit value with additional payment for calls. The practice offers an equitable distribution of cases, weekends, night work, and vacations; post-call days off; and opportunities for extra shifts and compensation. A two-year shareholder track is available.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical cases, including general, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgery, cardiac, thoracic, obstetric, and plastic surgery.
- Participate in regional anesthesia, invasive line placement, and care for complex surgical patients.
- Participate in the department’s call schedule and equitable distribution of weekend and night work.
