About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist position at a hospital in Lewisburg, PA. The role involves clinical duties and on-call responsibilities, covering a variety of surgical and procedural areas. The coverage period is from October 12, 2026, to January 11, 2027. The position requires providing anesthesia care for all ages, with a case mix including Vascular, OB/GYN, General, GI, Peds, Plastics, Ortho, Robotics, and Urology. The anesthesiologist will work with CRNAs, maintaining a 1:3 CRNA/room ratio, and will be expected to perform regional blocks for orthopedic patients. On-call duties are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM as needed.

Requirements

• Active PA license
• BC or BE
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Must be able to perform regional blocks (nerve blocks) for high volume ortho patients
• Must be able to take call 3p–7a during the week when needed

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas including Vascular, OB/GYN, General, GI, Peds, Plastics, Ortho, Robotics, and Urology.
• Perform regional blocks (nerve blocks) for a high volume of orthopedic patients.
• Cover a 1:3 CRNA/room ratio, supervising and collaborating with CRNAs.
• Take call from 3:00p – 7:00a during the week as needed.
• Utilize MAC, Regional, Spinal, and ultrasound-guided techniques.
