About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for their new office in Parsippany, NJ. This role involves administering anesthesia for full mouth dental implants and restorations, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction. The position offers an opportunity to work autonomously in partnership with an Oral Surgeon in a positive and engaging culture. Requirements

Board Certified in Anesthesia
Current state medical license
Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance
Experience with practicing independently
Experience with nasal intubations (training available for the right candidate)
Effective communication with all parties involved

Nice To Haves

Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
