About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist in Long Island, NY. This opportunity comes with a $20,000 sign-on bonus! The practice environment is at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, a 533-bed teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 10 ORs. The hospital has approximate case volumes of 8,200 annual cases, including OB, trauma, neuro, and ortho. The practice offers a collaborative environment with an inviting work style designed for work/life balance. Flexible scheduling is available with additional opportunities for evening and weekend coverage.
Requirements
- Active NY license
- Active DEA license
- Board certified
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience with OB/Trauma/Neuro/Ortho cases
- Willingness to participate in call rotations
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia
- Provide care during OB deliveries
- Handle trauma cases
- Perform orthopedic cases
- Manage neurological cases
- Participate in evening and weekend coverage as needed
