About The Position

The Anesthesia Technician cleans and stocks anesthesiology work areas and assists anesthesiology providers as necessary to make anesthesia services available to patients. This position is 0.5 FTE, or 20 hours per week (40 hours bi-weekly), in Winona. The schedule rotates between day and afternoon/evening shifts: 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m., 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m., 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday rotation is on-call, approximately every other month.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• BLS for healthcare workers.
• One of the following: Minnesota Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (NREMT); National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (NREMT-P); Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B); or an associate degree in Anesthesia Technology in lieu of certification.
