Respiratory Therapist - 0.5-0.9 FTE
About The Position
PRH is looking for a team member to join our Respiratory Therapy Department in the role of Registered Respiratory Therapist. This position is a 0.5-0.9 FTE, based on candidate preference and will be responsible for performing assessments designed to gather data relevant to the patients individual respiratory care needs, developing a plan of care, implementing the plan, providing treatment and diagnostic services, organizing care, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the treatment/care provided. The Respiratory Therapist performs pulmonary function testing, sleep oximetry testing, EKG services and a variety of other services. The Respiratory Therapist is also responsible for patient, family, and staff education as it relates to patient’s pulmonary condition.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist
- Valid license in the state of Wisconsin
- CPR Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) or obtained within one year of hire
