About The Position
Assist physicians with physiological monitoring of patients and prepare drugs, fluids, anesthetics, and equipment ancillary to operative interventions and other procedures requiring anesthesia. Set up, operate, and maintain monitoring and anesthesia equipment. Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a surgical attendant or nursing assistant in an acute care or ambulatory surgery environment.
- Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA upon hire.
- Must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an anesthesia technician.
- Anesthesia Technician certification or licensure.
