About The Position

We are seeking a passionate Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications on the Android platform. The role involves collaborating with product owners and designers to build performant, user-friendly apps using modern Android technologies and best practices. The position is available as a contract, contract-to-hire, or full-time W-2 role, and is open to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders without sponsorship. The candidate must be willing to relocate anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Android development experience.
• Solid Kotlin skills; Java is a plus.
• Experience with Android Jetpack, including ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, and WorkManager.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON parsing.
• Experience building UI layouts with XML.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-starter attitude.
• Team player who learns quickly.
• Strong attention to code quality and performance.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder; no sponsorship is available.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MVVM, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Unit and UI testing experience, including JUnit and Espresso.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and Java where needed.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, backend, QA, and product teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and feature planning.
• Implement responsive UIs based on design mockups.
• Debug and fix issues and optimize performance.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Support app deployment and maintenance on the Play Store.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to SDLC standards.
• Stay updated on Android trends and best practices.
