About The Position

We are seeking a passionate Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications on the Android platform. The role involves collaborating with product owners and designers to build performant, user-friendly apps using modern Android technologies and best practices.

The position is based in the United States, and the candidate must be willing to relocate anywhere. Employment options include contract, contract to hire, or full-time W-2. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders; sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of Android development experience.
• Solid Kotlin skills; Java is a plus.
• Experience with Android Jetpack, including ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, and WorkManager.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON parsing.
• Experience with UI layouts using XML.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-starter attitude.
• Team player who learns quickly.
• Strong attention to code quality and performance.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder; sponsorship is not available.
• Must be willing to relocate anywhere in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MVVM, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Experience with unit and UI testing, including JUnit and Espresso.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and Java where needed.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, backend, QA, and product teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and feature planning.
• Implement responsive user interfaces based on design mockups.
• Debug and fix issues and optimize performance.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Support app deployment and maintenance on the Play Store.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to SDLC standards.
• Stay updated on Android trends and best practices.
