About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Android Developer to design, develop, test, or guide mobile application experiences across supported devices and platforms. The work includes application architecture, user experience, API integration, performance, and release support. The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Jetpack, Compose, lifecycle-aware architecture, Retrofit, and Android testing; work with cross-functional teams; and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Typically 4+ years in a related professional role; the exact threshold must match the approved requisition.
• Practical experience with Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Jetpack, Compose, lifecycle-aware architecture, Retrofit, and Android testing.
• Professional experience in mobile application development, testing, architecture, or design relevant to the role.
• Knowledge of the iOS, Android, or cross-platform technologies identified for this position.
• Experience with mobile application lifecycle, APIs, device capabilities, and debugging.
• Understanding of mobile testing, performance, accessibility, and secure data handling.
• Ability to collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Additional hands-on depth in Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Jetpack, Compose, lifecycle-aware architecture, Retrofit, and Android testing.
• Experience with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery practices relevant to the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop or guide mobile application features, architecture, and reusable components.
• Integrate mobile experiences with APIs, identity, analytics, notifications, and device capabilities.
• Ensure responsive behavior, accessibility, performance, and secure handling of user data.
• Create automated tests and troubleshoot device, OS, network, and release issues.
• Coordinate with product, design, backend, QA, and release teams.
