About The Position
Adidev Technologies is an IT consulting firm that provides iOS and Android development services to major companies and other clients. The company describes itself as a people development firm, offering mentorship and training to help employees provide consulting services to clients. The Android Developer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale applications for prominent clients. The role is onsite and does not offer telecommuting or remote work. Candidates must be willing to relocate to new cities or states for client assignments, typically lasting 6 to 18 months, with possible extensions. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and may be W-2 or 1099 contract employment. Compensation is described as competitive and based on experience.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience as an Android developer.
- Strong understanding of MVC or MVVM software architectural patterns.
- At least one year of experience with Java and Kotlin.
- At least one application published on the Play Store.
- Familiarity with the Android SDK, Android versions, and adapting to different screen sizes.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit.
- Knowledge of mobile data storage using SQLite and Room.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for backend integration.
- Comfort with Git, SVN, and source control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-leadership skills.
- Willingness to relocate for client assignments.
