Android Developer
About The Position
Adidev Technologies is seeking an Android Developer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale applications for prominent clients. The role is onsite and requires willingness to relocate to different cities or states for client assignments, typically lasting 6 to 18 months, with possible extensions. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and may be offered as W2 employment or a 1099 contract. The company provides mentoring, training, development support, and assistance with project placement to help employees grow into consultants serving its clients.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience as an Android developer.
- Strong understanding of MVC or MVVM software architectural patterns.
- At least 1 year of experience with Java and Kotlin.
- Published at least one application on the Play Store.
- Familiarity with the Android SDK, Android versions, and adapting to different screen sizes.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit.
- Knowledge of mobile data storage using SQLite and Room.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for back-end integration.
- Comfort with GIT, SVN, and source control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-leadership skills.
- Willingness to relocate for client assignments.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications for the iOS or Android platform.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and implement new features.
- Identify and address bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code quality.
- Establish effective communication and maintain positive rapport with clients.
- Gather requirements and provide accurate, realistic project milestones and timelines.
- Complete coding tests or challenges as required.
- Maintain consistent communication through phone, text, and email.
- Suggest improvements to existing apps.
- Deliver projects on time and communicate changes promptly.
