Anatomic Pathology Manager
About The Position
Sonic Healthcare USA anatomic pathology practice, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations and strategic growth of our laboratory and pathology services. In this role, you will lead day-to-day operations across multiple laboratory and pathology practice locations. You will develop and implement operational strategies that support growth, efficiency, and profitability. You will manage budgets, monitor expenses, and oversee financial performance. You will supervise and support managers, technical staff, and operational teams. You will partner with physician leaders and senior management to achieve business objectives. You will evaluate staffing needs, optimize workforce planning, and support employee development. You will ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies. You will monitor productivity, quality assurance programs, and operational performance metrics. You will collaborate with corporate departments including Human Resources, Billing, IT, and Sales to resolve operational challenges and support business initiatives. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, healthcare organizations, and business partners. You will support growth initiatives, identify new business opportunities, and enhance market presence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Health or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in healthcare administration, laboratory operations, or a related healthcare environment.
- Proven experience managing budgets, staff, and operational performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
