Responsibilities

Supports pathologists, pathologist assistants, and histotechnologists in all related duties in surgical pathology
Handle ordering and packaging of send-out testing
Gathering information for service and billing
Slide distribution within the department
Handling messages from pathologists regarding patient testing
Answering phones
Acting as a liaison for courier services
Reconciling pending logs
Pulling slides and blocks as needed/requested
Managing temperature logs
Limited instrument maintenance
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
