About The Position

All analyses must be conducted in accordance with the approved analytical test methods before materials are shipped or utilized in filling or manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will need to conduct OOS lab investigations, inform management of critical issues, and suggest opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Degree in Science, preferably B.S./M.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry or equivalent experience
Knowledge or hands-on experience with various laboratory instruments, including UV/Vis spectrophotometers, FTIR, Karl Fischer titrators, pH meters, viscometers, colorimeters, densitometers, refractometers, titrations, and other wet chemistry techniques.
Ability to define all sensory product attributes—such as color, odor, and appearance evaluation—is essential.
Solid understanding and adherence to safe laboratory practices are required.
Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques, including GMP, GDP, and Good Lab Practices, is crucial.
Follow good documentation practices and accurately document analytical tests in lab notebooks in a timely manner.
Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to effectively relay information to management.
Problem-solving abilities are essential.
Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed is required.
Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
