This internship position is with Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC), a global leader in aerospace innovation headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec. P&WC designs and manufactures next-generation aircraft engines for business, general aviation, and regional aircraft and helicopters. The internship focuses on digital transformation and data management, with the opportunity to lead data governance initiatives and shape the company's future. The intern will bolster the data management strategy, craft dashboards for strategic decision-making, and drive the governance strategy and related projects. The role also involves supporting various ongoing projects, including gathering requirements, analyzing data, and creating test plans.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Able to work on-site in the province where hired.
- Pursuing studies in Data Analytics, Information Technology Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Software, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Good communication skills in French (spoken).
- Good communication in English (both written and spoken) is required due to operational needs and interactions with international individuals.
- Must undergo a criminal background check and obtain any applicable clearances related to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement a strategy for managing, governing, cleaning, and maintaining data for services and equipment.
- Lay the groundwork for seamless and integrated data governance, facilitating automation and eliminating manual interventions.
- Create dynamic dashboards to provide clear and impactful insights for decision-makers.
- Define and execute the action plan for aftermarket with precision and enthusiasm.
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to support project success.
- Develop comprehensive test plans to ensure solutions meet all necessary criteria and function seamlessly.
- Perform thorough testing and validation of solutions to guarantee optimal performance and alignment with requirements.
- Contribute to projects for improving accessory reliability and continuous improvement and transformation projects.
