About The Position

The Service Investigation team is looking for an organized and passionate person who would like to be part of a unique experience. The person will have a privileged access to the complete PWC product line and work with a team to investigate gas turbine engines involved in unplanned removals, incidents or accidents. This COOP assignment will be performed in the Service Investigation group. The intern will have the opportunity to work and assist highly skilled investigators. The group is responsible for planning and conducting complex technical investigations of PWC parts and engines of reported distress or involved in accidents or incidents. The group is also responsible for the determination of the root cause for the failure of parts and design in service. As a result, the group must ensure that all required in-house groups are aware of the problem and coordinate to achieve rapid solutions for improved field reliability/durability and improved quality.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
  • The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
