Analyst, Office of the CEO

ON.energy•Miami, FL

About The Position

The Analyst will own the recurring reporting workstreams of ON.energy’s Office of the CEO and support the Chief of Staff with strategic analysis. The Office of the CEO keeps company leadership, the Board of Directors, and investors aligned through monthly and quarterly reporting, the company’s OKR process, competitive intelligence, and cross-functional strategic initiatives. Reporting is the core of the role throughout its duration, with strategic work increasing as the Analyst builds command of the reporting cycle. The Analyst will produce monthly Board reports and quarterly Board materials, coordinating with Finance, Operations, Sales, People, Tax, Legal, and other functional teams to source, validate, analyze, and present information. The role also maintains the company’s OKR tracking system, researches the medium-voltage UPS and AI data center power markets, and supports CEO town halls, leadership offsites, and investor updates. Over time, the Analyst will build financial models, market analyses, and decision materials, and own defined workstreams within the Chief of Staff’s strategic initiatives. This role is intended for someone with one to two years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a comparable structured analytical program, seeking direct exposure to executive and Board-level decision-making at a growing energy technology company.

  • Exceptional written communication, with concise, structured, and precise writing and judgment about what Board members need to see.
  • High standards for final deliverable quality, including consistent formatting and terminology.
  • Curiosity about energy, infrastructure, and AI data centers, and initiative to learn a technical business quickly.
  • Ability to manage recurring deadlines across many stakeholders without losing accuracy, and to work with senior executives with professionalism and discretion.
  • Low ego, comfort with ambiguity, and a preference for ownership over instruction.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end production of the monthly Board report, collecting and validating inputs, updating financial, pipeline, project delivery, asset platform, and headcount sections, drafting the executive summary, and checking figures against their sources.
  • Prepare quarterly Board packs by building the deck shell, adapting functional teams’ slides into Board-level materials, analyzing Excel and PDF inputs, and managing review and distribution timelines.
  • Maintain the company’s OKR tracking system in SharePoint and Power BI, coordinate monthly data collection, process change requests, and prepare progress reporting for executives and the Board.
  • Research and write a monthly competitive intelligence report covering competitor product launches, pricing signals, customer wins, regulatory developments, and implications for ON.energy’s positioning.
  • Support preparation of CEO town halls, leadership offsites, and investor updates through data gathering, slide production, and follow-up tracking.
  • Build financial models, market sizing, and scenario analyses for cross-functional initiatives, including commercial models, grid-interactive products, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Draft memos and presentations that frame decisions, present options, and recommend a path for the CEO and executive team.
  • Own defined workstreams within the Chief of Staff’s strategic initiatives, from research and stakeholder interviews through final deliverables.
  • Manage recurring deadlines across stakeholders while maintaining accuracy, and work professionally and discreetly with senior executives.
