About The Position

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking an Analyst, Sales in New York, New York to engage with major U.S. and global hedge funds to drive high-value transactions through research engagement, corporate access facilitation, and catalyzing opportunistic trading flows. Integrate proprietary systems and cross-office insights to optimize client solutions and market strategies. Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding Morgan Stanley’s market share and enhancing overall sales execution. Strengthen and maintain connectivity between US and London operations to foster continuous innovation and competitive differentiation. Create detailed market content notes to distribute to applicable clients and drive U.S. based client engagement. Manage account coverage and advisory efforts for clients in the U.S. Foster relationships with key decision makers, CIO’s, portfolio managers, and investment analysts to assist in their capital allocation process. Ensure equity sales products are available for clients when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study
  • Two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Analyst, or a closely related occupation
  • Two (2) years of experience with equity market analysis
  • Two (2) years of experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Two (2) years of experience with market microstructure
  • Two (2) years of experience with institutional client relationship management
  • Two (2) years of experience with cross-office global collaboration
  • Two (2) years of experience with market commentary preparation
  • Two (2) years of experience with corporate access coordination
  • Two (2) years of experience with client coverage and pipeline management
  • Two (2) years of experience with Bloomberg Terminal
  • Two (2) years of experience with customer relationship management systems including Client Manager
  • Two (2) years of experience with institutional pricing and analytics systems
  • Two (2) years of experience with cross-asset investment insight integration
  • Two (2) years of experience with regulatory and compliance
  • Two (2) years of experience supporting strategic sales initiatives

Responsibilities
