About The Position

AIG is seeking an Analyst in the Procurement department as part of their 2027 Early Careers program. This role offers opportunities to learn and grow skills and experience within the team. The Global Sourcing & Procurement Services (GS&PS) team manages AIG's third-party spend, focusing on productivity, quality, category strategy, negotiations, execution, transformation, operations, productivity, environmental sustainability, supplier diversity, analytics, tools, and program governance. GS&PS aims to deliver value through trust, a best-in-class procurement experience, maximizing profit, minimizing risk, and enabling sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027.
  • Available to start the Program on July 26, 2027.
  • Analyst positions are in-person opportunities, requiring employees to work in the office at least four days per week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excelled in previous work experience.
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement.
  • Possess strong analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of AIG and the insurance industry.
  • Learn new skills through meaningful on-the-job experiences and instructor-led masterclasses.
  • Gain exposure to senior leaders, mentoring circles, networking, and volunteering.
  • Build connections with colleagues across the organization.
  • Manage all AIG third party spend, ensuring maximized productivity and quality.
  • Contribute to Category Strategy, Negotiations and Execution, Transformation, Operations, Productivity, Environmental Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, Analytics, Tools, and Program Governance.
