About The Position

The Procurement Analyst is a member of the Inventory Logistics & Analysis team and ensures materials and services are available to support airline maintenance MRO line and heavy check operations. The role works closely with internal customers and suppliers to source and procure materials, manage supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and improve supply chain performance while balancing material availability, operational needs, and cost efficiency. The position partners with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance teams to understand operational requirements and support business objectives. Some travel is required.

Requirements

Minimum age of 18.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain concepts and processes.
Advanced analytical capabilities and high proficiency with data tools, specifically Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot tables, and Microsoft Access.
Effective negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving, 24/7 operational environment.
Some travel is required.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle ERP or other ERP systems.
Experience in aviation, MRO, or aircraft materials procurement.

Responsibilities

Procure materials and supplies for line and heavy check MRO operations.
Create requests for quotations, source materials and services, and negotiate with suppliers.
Create, manage, and expedite purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted material support and on-time delivery.
Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier payment issues.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement workflows, inventory tracking, and logistical performance.
Identify and execute cost-saving and lead-time improvement opportunities through supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, quantity-price breaks, and demand consolidation.
Manage supplier relationships and performance using established metrics.
Partner with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance teams to understand operational requirements and support business objectives.
