This position is responsible for facilitating policy-focused discussions between MISO and stakeholders on energy industry matters, planning and managing the annual meeting schedule for various functional groups, and supporting agenda development, material reviews, and process guidance for external entity leadership and MISO liaisons. The role also involves advising MISO staff on stakeholder engagement strategies and issue resolution, managing meeting logistics, developing and maintaining issue tracking tools, and communicating and coordinating across MISO departments to ensure effective issue tracking and resolution. The goal is to provide an excellent customer experience to both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Political Science, or a related field (or 4 years of relevant experience).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, meeting facilitation, and governance structures.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in parliamentary procedures and stakeholder relationship management.

Nice To Haves

  • AI tool experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the energy industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate policy-focused discussions between MISO and stakeholders on energy industry matters.
