About The Position

AMC Global Media is seeking an Analyst, Media Prep to join its Media Operations & Engineering team in New York, NY. The role supports media preparation and delivery by coordinating quality control, asset availability, and technical requirements across internal teams and content partners. The Analyst helps ensure materials meet AMC Networks specifications and are available in the required formats.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in media or equivalent work experience.
At least 1 year of experience with digital video and audio specifications.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to changing requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main liaison with AMCN B&T to ensure content passes quality control and is available for any required reformatting versions.
Create placeholders and facilitate delivery of materials, including video, caption, and audio description files, with the Acquired group.
Coordinate delivery timelines and quality-control expectations and priorities with scheduling and acquisition teams.
Review assets that have completed quality control and facilitate redelivery when needed, ensuring all materials meet AMC Networks technical specifications.
Create work orders for captioning proxies, fixes, conforms, and VOD as needed.
Research asset availability for inventory and budget purposes.
