About The Position

AMC Global Media is seeking an Analyst, Media Prep to join its Media Operations & Engineering team in New York, NY. The role coordinates media delivery and quality control, working with internal teams to ensure content and associated materials meet technical specifications and are available in the formats needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in media or equivalent work experience.
At least 1 year of experience with digital video and audio specifications.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Able to troubleshoot and adapt to changing requirements and timelines.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main liaison with AMCN B&T to ensure all content passes quality control and is available for required reformatting.
Create placeholders and facilitate delivery of video files, caption files, and audio description files with the Acquired group.
Coordinate delivery timelines and quality-control expectations and priorities with the scheduling and acquisition teams.
Review assets that have undergone quality control and facilitate redelivery when needed, ensuring materials meet AMC Networks technical specifications.
Create work orders for captioning proxies, fixes, conforms, and VOD as needed.
Research asset availability for inventory and budget purposes.
