About The Position

This internship position is for an Analyst Intern in Kansas City, MO, with a start date in Spring 2027. The role involves performing all aspects of a project or work in progress, applying gained knowledge to future projects, and developing a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer services. The intern will assist in designing and maintaining Medicaid payment methodologies for healthcare providers, using tools like SQL, Alteryx, and PowerBI to analyze large datasets and provide recommendations. A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information are essential. This position has the potential to become a full-time, direct-hire role after graduation.

Requirements

  • Intern must be working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field
  • Possess and apply a solid understanding of the work environment; be punctual
  • Develop a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer services
  • Respond to all inquiries and requests

Responsibilities
