About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is seeking an Analyst, Financial Aid Data to support timely, accurate, and student-centered financial aid services through effective use and administration of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS) Financial Aid module and related systems. The position ensures data integrity and functional excellence by partnering with Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, and the Office of Information Technology (OIT) to test and implement system functionality, troubleshoot issues, support system releases, and improve financial aid processes and the student experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience
  • Related Experience: Experience in higher education student services, relevant data analytics or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional systems testing for enhancements, upgrades, patches, and system releases.
  • Administer and support student self-service financial aid functionality.
  • Troubleshoot functional system issues and coordinate solutions with OIT and campus partners.
  • Create and run queries, quality assurance reports, and data extracts to support financial aid operations and data integrity.
  • Analyze financial aid data and support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and assessment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system functionality, and compliance.
  • Serve as a functional liaison between Financial Aid and OIT and communicate system requirements and issues effectively.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures related to financial aid systems and processes.
