About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide advanced expertise in Workday Financial Management for process analysis, design, configuration, and problem-solving in a complex, multi-system environment with a strong focus on end-to-end financial solutions and integrations. Serve as lead systems administrator for Workday Finance applications, including Core Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable), Accounting Center, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Revenue Management, Assets, Cash Management, Close & Consolidation, and related modules. Uphold the integrity of Workday Finance data and processes through continuous examination, audit controls, and reconciliation activities. Configure and schedule routine and ad hoc advanced, matrix, and composite reports; create advanced calculated fields; and ensure report accuracy and integrity. Interpret data requests while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance. Collaborate with leadership to evaluate financial processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization on a consistent basis. Lead the creation of process documents and job aids for all Workday Finance and integration-related work to ensure consistent knowledge across teams. Take a consultative approach when working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Accounting, IT, etc.) to create detailed requirement documents for system changes, with full understanding of downstream impacts on integrations and processes. Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements, and define objectives for Workday Finance applications and their integrations with internal and external business processes. Maintain both user-based and role-based security assignments and Workday’s authentication policies to ensure proper visibility and protection of confidential financial information. Apply advanced problem-solving abilities and provide alternative solutions based on business requirements, with particular emphasis on integration design and data flow. Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related Business degree. 4+ years of progressive Finance technology or ERP experience, including at least 2 years of successfully demonstrated Workday Financial Management configuration and support experience. Extensive knowledge of at least three of the following Workday Finance modules and their key touchpoints/integrations to drive system efficiencies and process improvements: Core Financials (GL/AP/AR), Accounting Center, Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Revenue Management, Assets, Cash Management, Close & Consolidation. Strong working knowledge of Workday report writing (including Prism Analytics where applicable), managing integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs, etc.), and business process configuration. Excellent analytical, project management, and written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently with minimal direction and supervision while being both tactical and strategic.
