About The Position

Supports the business in identifying and implementing optimal technical solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems. The role includes preparing work plans for system upgrades and enhancements, configuring and maintaining technical environments, and evaluating workflows to assess feasibility and resolve operational issues. The Analyst develops specifications and documentation, plans and executes test scenarios, and assists in establishing technology standards. Additional duties include estimating resources, ensuring tasks are completed on time, and promptly communicating variances to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of EHR application build, implementation, and support experience.
• At least 4 years of progressive experience in information services, or a combination of information services and direct health care experience.
• Experience with small- to medium-scale implementations or upgrades.
• Test plan development experience.
• Information technology experience and/or healthcare operations experience.
• Project management of large initiatives.
• Implementation and upgrade support experience.
• Applications planning, development, and implementation experience.
• Technical collaboration experience, such as with interfaces, hardware, and reporting.
• Epic Systems certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, healthcare, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in computer science or healthcare.
• 2 years of direct applications build experience on the current software version, or 3 years of progressive experience in information services or a combination of information services and direct health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify optimal technical solutions for business issues and processes, ensuring seamless integration with other business and technology systems.
• Prepare business work plans to support analysis and testing of system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.
• Support configuration, implementation, and maintenance of technical requirements across development, staging, and production environments.
• Evaluate work processes, assess the feasibility of small- to medium-scale project requests, and resolve operational issues.
• Develop clear, concise specifications and accompanying documentation as assigned or needed.
• Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios to ensure thorough validation.
• Assist in developing technology standards.
• Assist in estimating the resources required to complete tasks.
• Complete assigned tasks by their due dates or document any variances.
