About The Position

This contracted position supports Quality and Food Safety (Q&FS) teams across the United States in integrating business systems. The role helps harmonize the complex Q&FS systems of Mars and Kellanova and serves as an expert in Q&FS programs and technical systems. The position has an end date of December 2027.

The role leads the Q&FS integration workstream, provides technical and functional expertise in digital systems integration, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and deliver integration initiatives. It analyzes current-state processes and implements harmonized future-state processes aligned with enterprise transformation objectives and global Q&FS standards. The role also supports system selection, standardizes metrics and reporting, ensures compliance, and helps teams navigate organizational change.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with five years of related experience in complex business environments and Q&FS experience. The listed U.S. base pay range is USD 38.12–USD 52.41; the posting does not specify the pay period.

Nice To Haves

• Ten years of experience in different quality and food safety-related areas, such as raw materials, distribution, or manufacturing, or internship experience in quality and food safety in a food manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of Mars systems, including Nexus, SAP Atlas, and Mars Pulse.
• Related certifications, such as project management PMP, facilitation, or managing successful programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Q&FS integration workstream, including project planning, milestone management, risk mitigation, and progress tracking.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Q&FS digital systems integration, supporting system harmonization, stakeholder training, and business readiness.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, coordinate integration activities, and execute business and digital transformation initiatives on time.
• Analyze current-state Q&FS processes across organizations and design and implement harmonized future-state processes aligned with enterprise objectives and global standards.
• Participate as a key decision-maker in evaluating, selecting, and integrating digital systems to support business needs and long-term operational excellence.
• Standardize metrics, reporting, and performance management processes to provide consistent visibility, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure integrated processes, systems, and workflows comply with internal Q&FS standards, corporate policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Foster collaboration, trust, and partnership across integrating teams and support communication and engagement strategies to help associates navigate change.
