About The Position

Oliver Wyman is a global management consultancy that works with clients across various industries to solve their most significant challenges. The Data and Analytics (DNA) division, established in 2017, is a dynamic and rapidly growing global team of quantitative analytics specialists. We collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm, serving industries such as Financial Services, Climate & Sustainability, Energy, Retail, and Transportation. As a member of the DNA team, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients from day one, helping to solve pressing challenges by developing tailored analytical solutions, implementing prototypes, and assessing their effectiveness. Notable projects include developing NLP-based machine learning toolkits, modeling portfolio decarbonization strategies, optimizing promotional programs, validating GenAI chatbots, developing probability of default and loss models, identifying supply chain risks, developing next best action models, performing commercial due diligence on AI software, implementing AI for billing discrepancies, assessing AI readiness for Private Equity firms, and restructuring pricing propositions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) from a top academic program.
  • Data-driven mindset and proficiency with numbers.
  • Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner to clients and colleagues.
  • Programming skills in Python or R.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and resilience in a creative and constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written).
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required.
  • Graduates from December 2026 through June 2027.
