About The Position

Oliver Wyman is a global management consultancy that works with clients across various industries and organizations to solve their most significant challenges. The Data and Analytics (DNA) division, established in 2017, is a global, dynamic, and rapidly growing team of quantitative analytics specialists. They collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm, working on projects in sectors such as Financial Services, Climate & Sustainability, Energy, Retail, and Transportation. The team values diverse perspectives and collaborative efforts to drive innovation, fostering an inclusive environment where all members can thrive. As an Analyst in the Data & Analytics team, you will work with colleagues and clients from day one, contributing to tailored solutions for global clients. This includes designing analytical solutions, implementing and assessing prototypes, and sharing ideas. Notable projects involve developing NLP-based machine learning toolkits, modeling portfolio decarbonization strategies, optimizing promotional programs, validating GenAI chatbots, developing probability of default and loss models, identifying supply chain risks, developing next best action models, performing commercial due diligence on AI systems, implementing AI for billing discrepancies, assessing AI readiness for private equity firms, and restructuring pricing propositions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) from a top academic program.
  • Data-driven mindset and proficiency with numbers.
  • Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner to clients and colleagues.
  • Programming skills in Python or R (preferred).
  • Eagerness to continuously extend knowledge of technologies.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and resilience in a creative and constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written).
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required.
  • Graduates eligible between December 2026 through June 2027.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest and experience in private equity and private markets is a plus.
