This role is responsible for generating and managing vendor purchase orders using Kroger replenishment software. The Analyst will manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as upstream out of stocks, distribution center days of supply, service level, on-time delivery, aged inventory, DC inventory levels, and store in-stock position. They will act as a central point of contact to ensure strong communication and execution between Kroger and suppliers. Key responsibilities include enabling vendor on-time delivery performance by managing DC inbound capacity and PO delivery scheduling, and managing master supply chain data in Kroger and supplier systems for truckload optimization and efficiency. The role also involves using reporting tools to assess internal network supply disruptions, communicating projected recovery to the customer, auditing ordering patterns to improve warehouse in-stocks and operational efficiencies, and reducing cost-to-serve. Additionally, the Analyst will drive cross-functional alignment between Sales, Demand Planning, and Supply to support new item fulfillment and item discontinuations for shelving resets.
