About The Position

The Business Analyst supports Texon’s Butane Marketing group through accounting coordination, reconciliation, invoicing, transportation contract management, and operational reporting. The role is the primary contact for Accounting inquiries for the group and assists with daily reconciliation of carrier and origin load reports against Entero. It also handles butane gain/loss reconciliation, coordinates third-party sales invoicing, manages rail bills of lading for customers, and verifies transportation and demurrage invoices.

The position compiles and distributes morning blend, trace, and contract performance reports and runs the monthly inventory meeting, preparing related reports for operations, commercial, and logistics teams. The role may also provide backup scheduling support, including working some nights or weekends. It reports to the Truck Scheduling Manager.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for Accounting inquiries for the Butane Marketing group.
• Assist with daily reconciliation of carrier and origin load reports against Entero.
• Perform butane gain/loss reconciliation.
• Run the monthly inventory meeting and compile associated operations, commercial, and logistics reports.
• Coordinate third-party fixed-price sales invoicing.
• Coordinate third-party index sales invoicing at month-end.
• Manage rail bills of lading for customers.
• Manage truck and rail Entero transportation contracts.
• Verify transportation and demurrage invoices.
• Compile and distribute morning blend, trace, and contract performance reports.
• Provide potential backup scheduler coverage, which may involve working some nights or weekends.
