Analog ASIC Design Intern (Summer 2027)

Draper•Cambridge, MA
•$20 - $45•Onsite

About The Position

Draper is an independent, nonprofit research and development company headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with more than 2,000 employees working on national challenges across areas including defense, space exploration, and biomedical engineering. Its multidisciplinary teams collaborate to develop innovative, usable solutions. The Analog ASIC Design Intern will work in the Analog ASIC group on Silicon Carbide integrated circuits, from conceptual phases through detailed design, implementation, verification, and test. The position is intended for a student in a suitable degree program synergistic with Silicon Carbide design, process development, characterization, modeling, packaging, and test. The intern will develop top-level and circuit-level specifications and conceptual circuit designs; review detailed block-level designs during implementation; participate in chip-level planning with the implementation team; and provide input to verification and test planning. The internship includes engineering design and development, implementation and testing, analysis, documentation, and preparation and presentation of test reports. Summer interns are expected to attend Draper’s Cambridge, Massachusetts campus from June through August unless duties in the MUSiC foundry preclude this. Hours and program duration may be adjusted to accommodate the applicant’s school schedule and availability. Following a successful summer internship at the Cambridge campus, the scope may expand to include sponsorship while attending the University of Arkansas. Applicants selected may be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
