Analog ASIC Design Intern (Summer 2027)

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory•Cambridge, MA
•Onsite

About The Position

The Analog ASIC Design Intern will work in Draper’s Analog ASIC group on Silicon Carbide integrated circuits, contributing from conceptual phases through detailed design, implementation, verification, and test. The intern is expected to be affiliated with the University of Arkansas MUSiC program and to have knowledge relevant to Silicon Carbide processing, design, packaging, characterization, and test. The degree program should be synergistic with Silicon Carbide design, process development, characterization, modeling, packaging, or test. The intern will develop top-level and circuit-level specifications and conceptual circuit designs, review detailed block-level designs during implementation, participate in chip-level planning with the implementation team, and provide input to verification and test planning. The internship may include design documentation and bench-level testing. Summer interns (June–August) are required to attend Draper’s Cambridge, Massachusetts campus unless duties in the MUSiC foundry preclude this. Following a successful summer internship at Draper’s Cambridge campus, the scope may expand to include sponsorship while attending the University of Arkansas. Draper is an independent nonprofit research and development company headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with more than 2,000 employees. Its multidisciplinary teams work on challenges in areas including defense, space exploration, and biomedical engineering.
