About The Position

The HP Additive Manufacturing print business is a growing business unit that provides world-class 3D printing solutions, unlocks new business opportunities, and drives profitable growth in the AM Market. The AMS Business Operations Manager is the backbone of the business activity, driving all processes and tools to keep the sales motion and increase our customer satisfaction. Working collaboratively with the Sales Organization, GBU, Supply Chain, Services, and many other key stake holders, the AMS Business Operations Manager drives operational excellence, customer experience and manages business continuity risks. The AMS AM Business Operations Manager must be well-organized, customer oriented, and have a passion for operational excellence that supports sales leadership to achieve their targets. You are expected to drive process improvement and automation, and most importantly, build and drive a high-performance team that can optimize, scale and grow the business. You should be a team player with strong commitment to accomplish tasks and goals, deep understanding of change management and work on an agile concept to deliver fast returns. In this role, you will focus on driving operational excellence, system efficiencies, and effective communication across the teams to create synergies and alignment.

Requirements

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in a business-related function, preferably Business Operations
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, including goal-setting, conflict resolution, performance management, budget planning, problem solving, valuation and employee engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to develop business processes that impact sales goals and initiatives.
  • Proven track record of growth mindset leader.
  • Advanced strategic thinking skills.
  • Analytical abilities and process improvement experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales, sales processes and ability to apply policies, practices and systems.
  • Truly customer centric but at the same time keeping business compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation) to develop relationships across businesses.
  • Strong understanding of HP's operations outside own business.

Responsibilities

  • Single point of contact in all the Quote to Cash activities for Direct & Indirect Customers related topics.
  • Play a fundamental role on transforming the way we collaborate and scale the 3D Business.
  • Benchmarks with world-class Business Operations practices, tools and capabilities.
  • Consults with business/sales leaders to discuss and influence overall trajectory of the business.
  • Develop recommendations for optimizing business execution.
  • Ensure business success and compliance.
  • Drives Efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Develops and/or implements solutions to drive simplicity.
  • Performs analysis that drive insights and performance improvements.
  • Understands Sales organization and customer needs.
  • Responsible for setting and monitoring annual performance plans, coaching, and career development.
  • Networks with other groups to drive best practice sharing
  • Oversees resolution of issues affecting the team.
