About The Position

The Technology Manager supports day-to-day reliability and performance of the enterprise data network, focusing on execution, team-level leadership, and operational stability. The role partners with senior leaders to deliver secure and resilient connectivity across environments and contributes to automation and process improvement initiatives. This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include contributing to a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in network operations or infrastructure support
  • Hands-on experience with core networking technologies
  • Experience in incident management and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to SDN technologies (e.g., Cisco ACI, SD-WAN)
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible)
  • Experience in 24x7 operational environments
  • Understanding of Agile or DevOps practices

Responsibilities

  • Support network operations across routing, switching, SD-WAN, firewalls, and load balancing
  • Participate in incident response and assist in resolving moderately complex issues
  • Ensure adherence to incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Lead a small team or functional area and coordinate work across teams
  • Support automation, runbooks, and process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs and contribute to operational reporting
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and vendor teams
  • Lead a small team or functional area within network operations, providing day-to-day guidance and support
  • Coordinate work across shifts or teams to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Partner with senior managers to align team priorities with broader operational goals
  • Support implementation of automation initiatives, including runbooks and workflow improvements
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
  • Contribute to process simplification and standardization efforts
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members
  • Monitor operational metrics (e.g., incident volumes, resolution times, service stability indicators)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including engineering, architecture, and product teams
  • Interface with vendors and support partners as needed for issue resolution
  • Communicate operational updates clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Assist in tracking team performance and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Provide inputs into reporting and operational reviews

  • Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
