Blueprint Schools Network•Mesa, AZ
•$21,000 - $24,000•Onsite

About The Position

Blueprint Schools Network is hiring AmeriCorps Math Fellows to provide personalized math support and help students build foundational skills, confidence, and academic momentum. Fellows deliver intensive, small-group math instruction during the school day, working directly with students in Apache Junction or Phoenix, Arizona. The position is a service role for one academic school year, with service hours determined by the AmeriCorps slot and program schedule. Fellows receive structured onboarding, daily planning and preparation time, regular one-on-one instructional coaching, collaborative lesson planning, and professional development. They track student progress and adapt instruction using assessment data, while coordinating with classroom teachers, school administrators, and other AmeriCorps members. The role also offers practical experience and pathways to explore teaching, teacher certification, and graduate study. AmeriCorps members receive a bi-weekly living allowance rather than a salary or hourly wage. The Arizona living stipend band is $21,000–$24,000 for schedules with six or more school-day hours; the final amount depends on the local program schedule and on-site service hours. Eligible members in good standing may receive an end-of-term living allowance balance based on their AmeriCorps slot. Other member benefits may include a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award, healthcare coverage for full-time members, childcare assistance for eligible full-time members, and federal student loan forbearance and interest repayment upon successful completion. Blueprint also provides planning time, leave, coaching, well-being resources, telehealth, and commuter savings benefits.
