About The Position

OrthoCarolina is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery Center Registered Nurse (RN) for its surgery center team. The RN provides orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care and coordinates the telephone pre-admission assessment process for ASC patients. The position requires PACU experience and includes cross-training in other primary ASC areas to support daily operations, including assisting with turnover. The RN is expected to demonstrate OrthoCarolina’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Service, and Community, deliver excellent service to physicians and patients, and contribute to high-performing teams. The position is 40 hours per week, normally within the 5:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. hour structure. Ambulatory experience is preferred, and PACU experience is required. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College, or University.
Current license or registration as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
At least two years of experience; the posting specifies ambulatory experience as required in the qualifications, while also describing it as preferred earlier in the posting.
PACU experience required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Registered Nurse - NCLEX-RN certification.
