About The Position

Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. As an integral member of the health care team, the nurse coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with other members of the healthcare team, patients, and patients’ families or significant others. The nurse maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

Requirements

Two years of PACU experience.
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required.
Valid New Jersey RN license; approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board and applicable departmental requirements.
Knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to coordinate the efforts of a team of care providers.
Keep nursing skills current through ongoing education, journals, and other means.

Nice To Haves

Certification preferred.

Responsibilities
